Web Developer Intern

Paul Consulting Group, (PCG) an IT solutions provider in Tallahassee, Florida, is currently seeking candidates for a Web Application Developer Intern to become part of our PCG Learning Academy. This hourly, paid internship will learn structured programming concepts to facilitate the development and/or maintenance of our customer’s business web applications. The successful candidate will be seeking experience developing web applications with object-oriented design techniques utilizing Microsoft tools.

Duties

• Learning best practice coding techniques.

• Designing and implementing web/mobile applications using the .Net Framework within established project schedules.

• Adhering to software requirements specifications and project timelines.

• Improving at structured coding using C# and SQL Server.

• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with the scrum project teams.

• Assisting with the effort to improve the Academy for the next intern

Experience

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, IS, or related field.

Preferred, but not required:

• Some design and/or development knowledge/experience with C#, .NET, and/or SQL Server.

• Some knowledge of Object-Oriented programming.

• A passion for programming/software development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A creative mind.

• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
