Mobile Developer Intern

Paul Consulting Group, (PCG) an IT solutions provider in Tallahassee, Florida, is currently seeking candidates for a Mobile Application Developer Intern to become part of our PCG Learning Academy. This hourly, paid internship will learn structured Android mobile device application programming to facilitate the development of Android mobile applications utilizing Native Mobile app technologies. The successful candidate will get experience developing mobile applications with object-oriented design techniques utilizing mobile application development technologies for native apps hosted on the Android platform.

Duties

​

• Learning mobile-based Java language

• Designing and implementing mobile applications using Android Studio

• Adhering to software requirements specifications

• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the project teams.

• Assisting with the effort to improve the Academy for the next intern

​

Degree

​

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, or IS, or related field.

 

Essential Skills

Preferred, but not required: 

​

• Native IOS and/or Android development languages: Java, Swift

• MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server (or other relational database management system)

• Some familiarity of Android Studio or XCode

• Strong technical and programming skills.

• A creative mind.

• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
